At the time when innovation is so clearly needed, education is failing to respond. The OECD shows that, in contrast to many companies and countries which have innovation policies and departments, “innovation remains a marginal policy agenda in most education systems.” Our own review of research/policy on education innovation revealed that the growth of technological innovation has masked the lack of pedagogic innovation and has made it harder to put forward the case that “technology can amplify great teaching, but great technology cannot replace poor teaching.”
INACT was developed with a clear objective in mind: to provide educators with the knowledge, skills and confidence to engage in pedagogic innovation, helping them to create inclusive, innovative and genuinely engaging learning experiences for all their students.

FOLK University
Folkuniversitetet (FOLK) is an educational association that comprises of five foundations: the university extensions attached to the Universities of Stockholm, Uppsala, Göteborg, Lund and Umeå. It offers a wide range of adult education all over Sweden and a broad open educational program in a variety of subjects. FOLK also has a strong vocational education focus. They run schools in higher vocational education, upper secondary schools, courses for seniors, labour market education and further education/training for working life. FOLK believe that many different pathways to lifelong learning are needed to benefit all people. FOLK is wholly committed to the principle that it is everyone’s lifelong right to freely search for knowledge.
Institute of Vocational Training AKMI
The Institute of Vocational Training AKMI was founded in 1989 and today is one of the leading Vocational Training Institutes in Greece employing approximately 950 permanent staff, 600 of whom are educators and academic staff recognised for their innovative research and teaching approaches, qualifications, language knowledge, critical thinking and mindset. The majority of the educators cooperate and manage, in collaboration with the admin office, the total administration of the summer schools, mobility programs, training seminars and lectures, social and cultural events.
Open Education Community
The Open Education Community serves the needs of enthusiastic, dedicated teachers, trainers, students and other professionals in education with a community and sharing mindset and an international orientation. Based in Brussels, the Open Education Community allows us to work closely with European institutions and other European networks and be in touch with policymakers and education representatives on a regular basis.
Momentum Consulting Ltd
A leading vocational education provider in Ireland, Momentum specialise in problem-centered, technology-driven, competency-based training projects and programmes specialising in education. Momentum’s key remit is to improve approaches to education design and delivery and use the power of collaboration within their wider education network.
European E-learning Institution
The European E-learning Institute (EUEI), specialise in the creation of powerful online platforms, immersive educational environments and provision of resources and tools to create truly valuable learning experiences. EUEI was founded on the concept of ‘continuing education’; a post-secondary education programme that provides further enrichment to learners in a wide range of sectors, covering topics that are professional and/or personal. As an organisation, EUEI places tremendous worth on the informal and flexible nature of continuing education and crafting flexible, online learning courses for those wishing to improve themselves and stay ahead in their careers and in business. Empowering and upskilling European educators is a key goal of the organisation.
Tallinn University
Tallinn University (TU) is the third-largest university in Estonia. Their School of Educational Sciences holds a long research tradition in the field of vocational education and training, educational changes in VET and vocational teachers´ professionalism. The School of Educational Sciences which is the oldest academic unit in Tallinn University, is home to the only vocational education research group in Estonia responsible for studying vocational teachers skills and competences. Tallinn University has more than 7,500 students (9.5% of them international) enrolled in their bachelor, master and doctoral study programmes. Approximately 15,000 people also participate in further education via the regional college and Open University studies each year. TU employs over 800 people, including nearly 400 educators, researchers and lecturers.
